About the book
From Edison to iPod is written for those people who have creative or ingenious minds, who wish to obtain a patent for their new ideas or inventions; or make sure that the copyright of their new inventions. The patent system ensures that individual inventors profit from their innovations without fear of theft of their intellectual property.

Frederick Mostert & Don MacRobert are both leaders in the intellectual property field.

They have counselled public figures and celebrities including Lucas Radebe, Ryk Neethling, Nelson Mandela, Boris Becker, Stella McCartney, The Shaolin Monks and Ernie Els. The aim is to protect these individuals intellectual property, so that no one can exploit them by using their names commercially.
